GTF3 represses TnI SURE enhancer activity in transiently transfected rat soleus muscle. Muscles were transfected with equimolar amounts of TnIs95.SURE and mGTF3 and harvested after 9 days for analysis of reporter activity. In each animal, the contralateral soleus was cotransfected with the reporter plasmid and the empty parental expression vector. Luciferase values were normalized for β-galactosidase expression using RSV-βGal. Each pair of bars represents values obtained from a single animal.
