Immunoprecipitation analysis of protein lysates from infected host cells. Infected cell lysates were immunoprecipitated with MAb to SWP1 and protein A (IP 11B2 Lysate) or with MAb to SWP2 and protein A (IP 7G7 Lysate). Following SDS-PAGE, Western blotting detection was conducted using MAb 7G7 (anti-SWP2). Negative controls included immunoprecipitations using PBS instead of protein lysate (IP 7G7/PBS and IP 11B2/PBS). The detected bands in these lanes are the reduced antibody proteins. As a positive control for Western blotting with 7G7, purified spores were included.
