Case example of wideband power absorbance measured in an adult ear with surgically diagnosed otosclerosis, shown along with grey-shaded area of normal (defined in caption of Fig. 4 ). Absorbance in the low frequencies is generally reduced below the lower bound of the normal range. There is also a subtle high-frequency shift of the absorbance peak.
