SkQ1 protects mice against toxic doses of C₁₂TPP. (A) Survival of mice after a single intravenous injection of 34 μmol/kg C₁₂TPP. SkQ1 (1.5 μmol/kg/day) was injected as in Fig. 2. The groups contained 7 mice. (B) Survival of mice after a single intravenous injection of 42 μmol/kg C₁₂TPP. SkQ1 (1.5 μmol/kg) was injected within the first hour after C₁₂TPP. Number of mice: 11 with C₁₂TPP and 12 with C₁₂TPP + SkQ1.
