Effects of TCZ releasing JNP on OSCC tumor induction. (a) Gross OSCC tumors at day 27 prior to collection. The tumors treated with JNP-TCZ appeared clinically smaller and less erythematous. (b) At day 27, mice were sacrificed and tumors were excised. The latter were bisected along the greatest dimension plane and histologic size (width x height) was determined for the masses in which tumor islands were still present. The JNP-TCZ tumors were significantly smaller in size and this difference was statistically significant when comparing with JNP-CTR (p < 0.01) and TCZ tumors (p < 0.001). No significant differences were detected in comparison of the JNP-CTR and TCZ tumors. (Not Significant (N.S)).
