Number of samples collected from 1-year-old canes of Tocai friulano plants

Total number of secondary phloem samples for each thesis (S, AS, AA, A, H) collected from 1-year-old canes of Tocai friulano plants. A variable number of healthy and Flavescence dorée-infected plants of the cultivar Tocai friulano were sampled for two years (2020 and 2021), in September and November, corresponding to the end of the vegetative season and the dormant phase, respectively. Timing and total number of samples for each kind of analysis (gene expression, evaluation of polyphenol and H₂O₂ contents) are indicated. Positive (red) and negative (blue) results of molecular analysis for the presence of FDp, performed both on leaves and canes, are indicated.
