Six different types of DSCs have been isolated and characterized, including stem cells from dental pulp (DPSCs), periodontal ligament (PDLSCs), deciduous teeth (SHED), apical papilla (SCAPs), dental follicles (DFSCs), and gingiva (GMSCs).
