Mt3 overexpression inhibits lipid accumulation in 3T3−L1 adipocytes. 3T3−L1 cells were transfected with HA−MT3 plasmid (0.25, 0.5 μg) prior to contact inhibition and incubated with differentiation cocktail to induce adipocyte differentiation. Oil Red O staining was used to measure the extent of lipid accumulation on day 8. (a) Representative images of 3T3-L1 adipocytes were captured at 200× magnification. Scale bar = 100 μm.
