The process of Wnt signal transduction on the active state. In the presence of a Wnt signal, the Wnt ligand binds with Frizzled receptor and LRP5/6 co-receptor on the surface of the cell membrane, inducing phosphorylation of DVL through CKI, thus inhibiting GSK-3β activity, and β-catenin will accumulate in the nucleus. Thus, LEF/TCF-mediated transcription of target genes is activated.
