(A) Immunoblot analysis was used to compare the expression levels of the tight junction proteins ZO-1, occludin-1, and claudin-5 protein in bEnd.3 cells between the monolayer and in the co-culture along with C8-D1A cells. (B) Immunofluorescence staining was used to analyze ZO-1 expression in bEnd.3 cells cultured in mono- and co-culture states.
