IMD-0354 diminishes inflammatory reactions and promotes anti-inflammatory reactions in microglia in a high glucose environment. ELISA showed that high glucose treatment strongly upregulated expression of IL-6, IL-1β and TNF-α (A-C) and downregulated IL-10 (D) expression in microglia. Significant decreases in expression of inflammatory cytokines (IL-6, IL-1β and TNF-α), and an increase in anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 were observed in groups treated with IMD-0354.
