A – Wild type (WT) or EC-specific SOCS1 knockout (socs1 −/−) mice were injected with vehicle (saline) or LPS (intratracheally, 1 mg/kg) and Evans blue dye (30 mg/kg, i.v.) was injected 2 h before the end of the experiment. Lung vascular permeability was determined by visualized Evans blue-stained lungs. B – BAL was collected from control and LPS-exposed WT or socs1 −/− mice to analyze total cells (top) and protein content (bottom).
