Photochemical efficiency of photosystem II (Φ2), chloroplastic CO2 concentration (Cc), and γ (the lumped parameter in Equation 2) in response to incident irradiance (Iinc) for wheat (T. aestivum) and sunflower (H. annuus). Plants grown under ambient CO2 (aCO2, circles) or elevated CO2 (eCO2, squares) were measured at gaseous conditions of 410 μmol mol−1 (open symbols) or 820 μmol mol−1 (closed symbols) CO2 in the leaf chamber.
