Early reduction in pNF-H and NF-H expression in the ONH after chronic ocular hypertension. (A) Western blot showing control and treated ONH 2 and 4 weeks after COH occurred. pNF-H and NF-H was recognized at 200 kDa, NF-M was visible at 160 kDa, and NF-L was visible at 70 kDa, with GAPDH as the internal control. The density of pNF-H and neurofilament subunit bands started to reduce at 2 weeks. (B) Representative blots from control and treated retinas 2 and 4 weeks after COH occurred.
