A stellar calibration image (gray-scale) compared to expected star locations (purple circles), calculated from the spacecraft-to-inertial-frame quaternion as reported by the star tracker and the solved-for MIGHTI-frame-to-spacecraft-frame quaternion. The image has been processed by taking the median of 3 successive images (on a per-pixel basis) and then applying a 3x3-pixel median filter, to reduce noise. Each image had an integration time of 30 seconds. Shown is the green channel, and only the rows and columns actually used for science data. Horizontal streaks are artifacts associated with hot pixels
