Animals (n = 16 to 20 animals, from two independent experiments) received 3F6-mIgG2a or isotype control mIgG2a (10 mg/kg of body weight) and deglycosylated α-FcγRIV or α-CD11b (CR3) (7.5 mg/kg of body weight) as indicated, before challenge with S. aureus MW2.
