Note: Models for pain and infection were estimated using logit logistic regressions and models of numbers of cavitations and dmft were estimated using multivariate linear regressions, controlling for all risk factors available at initial visit. Odds rations (OR) or coefficients and 95% confidence intervals (CI) using robust standard errors are reported. Sensitivity analyses using Poisson regressions were also conducted to account for potential positively skewed distribution of dmft and caries data (Appendix S1).
