Principle of digital PCR. This figure was drawn using Figdraw software online (https://www.figdraw.com/static/index.html). The process of digital PCR mainly includes sample preparation, sample distribution, PCR amplification, and fluorescence signal detection and analysis. The EP tube contains nucleic acid extracted from the sample to be tested. First, the sample to be tested was microdropped to make ~20,000 small droplets of water in oil, and then the microdrop system was amplified. Finally, the fluorescence signal of each microdrop was detected, and the data was analyzed.
