A montage image of an eye with proliferative diabetic retinopathy was created from two widefield (133°) images yielding an ultra‐widefield (UWF) view. Of note, there is a shadow at the superior boundary where the images overlap. Some distortion of the periphery is observed. The image was obtained using the Zeiss Clarus 500 (Carl Zeiss Meditec, Dublin, CA)
