Baicalein increases the tumor suppressor proteins p38 and p53 and triggers apoptosis in tumor cells by inhibiting PI3K/Akt and subsequent proteins. Aditionally, this research highlights how Baicalein may impact cell cycle progression through the p53/Rb signaling pathway.
