Piezo1 channel. Structure and regulation of the channel. Piezo1 protein has a homotrimeric architecture with three propeller-shaped blades. The pore consists of the extracellular Cap structure, three pairs of the outer and inner helices (TM domains), and the intracellular C-terminal domain (CTD).
