Percentage of cells with spread out morphology in NS‐1 cells in Dulbecco's modified eagle's medium (DMEM) with 15% horse serum and 2.5% foetal bovine serum. NS‐1 cells were seeded into six‐well plates with the wells ei‐ther uncoated (non) or coated with laminin (LM) collagen I (I), poly‐l‐lysine (PLL), poly‐d‐lysine (PDL), or collagen IV (IV). Cell morphology was observed after 24 h as described in Section 2. Percentages of the number of cells with spread‐out morphology over the total number of cells in the respective wells are shown. The data shown are the mean ± standard error of mean of three independent experiments. Statistical significance is shown as *p < .05, **p < .01, ****p < .0001 using one‐way analysis of variance.
