(C) NRP2 in both skin and lung tissue samples from sarcoidosis patients is highly expressed throughout granulomas but not in the surrounding tissue. Lung tissue from a sarcoidosis patient was co-stained for NRP2 and the CD68 macrophage marker. Granulomas in this sample were composed primarily of CD68+ macrophages that express NRP2 (11).
