The panel of control compounds includes AZT (azidothymidine, an inhibitor of reverse transcriptase), RAL (raltegravir, an integrase inhibitor), SQV (saquinavir, a protease inhibitor) and PBS (phosphate-buffered saline, control). The levels of HIV-1 infection for each time point were normalized against the respective PBS control. Error bars represent standard errors from three independent experiments.
