Triage tags are colour codes: white defines non-critically ill patients who do not require treatment in a short time; green defines borderline critically ill patients, whose intervention can be postponed; yellow defines medium critically ill patients, whose intervention cannot be postponed; and red defines highly critically ill patients that need immediate emergency intervention.
