IRRs of preeclampsia and gestational diabetes were adjusted for maternal age (years), deprivation (Couverture médicale universelle complémentaire), obesity, tobacco use, history of diabetes, and multiple pregnancy. Other IRRs were adjusted for factors cited previously plus gestational diabetes. Birth weight was available from 2013, low birth weight IRRs were calculated for available data at the period from 2013 to 2018. Preterm IRRs were calculated for live births.
