Recently a new clinical risk score (MR-DASH) was developed based on the population of NOMED-AF cross-sectional study to predict the risk of silent fibrillation (SAF).49 It was designed and validated in a cohort of 3014 individuals continuously monitored using a long-term vest-based ECG recording system. Brief characteristics of C2HEST and MR-DASH scores are included in Table 2. Better identification of populations at risk of AF using appropriate risk scales/scores is advised to increase the effectiveness of large systematic device-based AF screening projects. graphic file with name euac144il1.jpg 35,45
The C2HEST score may be applied to identify populations at risk of incident AF. graphic file with name euac144il2.jpg 45–47
