Reactions were carried out with 4 μM prototypes in the presence of 0.5 mM MgCl2 at 37 °C with varying concentrations of ADP (50 to 5000 μM) in 50 mM tricine buffer (pH 7.6). Samples were incubated for 1 h, and luminescence was measured as described in the Materials and Methods section. Values in parentheses represent the SEM from four to eight independent measurements.
