Population	Assessment of
All children and adolescents with elevated blood pressure (Baseline evaluation)	– Blood count and morphology – Ions, including Ca and P – Blood gas analysis – Serum creatinine, serum uric acid, total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose, HbA1C, thyroid hormones – Urinalysis with spot albumin-to-creatinine ratio – Renal and abdominal ultrasound
Children and adolescents with – ≥ stage 2 HTN, – age <10 years, – Suspected secondary or monogenic hypertension (Usually done in referral centers)	– Renin and aldosterone concentrations – Steroid hormones metabolism – Serum concentrations of meta- and normetanephrine or excretion of catecholamines and their metabolites – Molecular investigations in suspected monogenic HTN – Renal doppler ultrasound
