Patients are placed on a bed underneath a fluoroscopy machine (A), which allows the physician to use image guidance to guide a catheter to the point of interest (B). Fluoroscopic imaging (C) allows visualization of a radio-opaque catheter (green arrow), which can be used to inject contrast dye that outlines the vessels feeding the tumor (red circle). Once in the proper location, therapeutic Y90 can then be delivered, and follow-up SPECT imaging (D) can confirm retention in the tumor.
