Case 1.1: A case of pancreatic lymphoma that was cytologically prediagnosed as a pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). A 76-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital because of acute pancreatitis. Enhanced computed tomography (a) showed a 40 mm hypovascular tumor in the pancreatic head, and endoscopic retrograde pancreatography (b) displayed slight dilation of the caudal MPD. In cytologic assessment, we used tumor samples (c) obtained from endoscopic ultrasonography–guided fine-needle aspiration, (d) which then revealed atypical cells (papanicolaou stain, × 400) suggesting a PDAC, resulting in surgery
