BMDMs were infected with Mtb Erd‐tdTomato and imaged by time‐lapse microscopy at 1‐ or 2‐h intervals for up to 166 h.
  1. Growth rate of individual Mtb microcolonies growing inside a macrophage (intra) or on the debris of a lysed macrophage (extra). Black lines indicate median values and interquartile ranges. (n = 96, 47 bacterial microcolonies, respectively)
