Difference‐in‐differences (DID) estimates of changes in access associated with financial integration among Medicaid enrollees with mild, moderate, or no observed mental illness. Outcomes are binary variables representing any encounter within a quarter for enrollees with mild, moderate, or no observed mental illness. Figures display adjusted DID estimates for outpatient mental health visits, primary care visits, emergency department visits for mental health conditions, and hospitalizations for mental health conditions. The integrated managed care initiative is marked by the vertical line, beginning in quarter 2 (Q2) of 2016. These figures report coefficients from an adjusted DID regression.
