Effects of exendin-4 and linagliptin on MPP (+)-induced SH-SY5Y cell apoptosis.

(A) Apoptosis of SH-SY5Y cells was detected by flow cytometry. There was an increase in early apoptosis in the MPP (+) group, and a decrease in the MPP (+) + EX-4 and MPP (+) + LINA groups. (B) Quantitative analysis of early apoptosis (Q4) of SH-SY5Y cells. (C) Quantitative analysis of late apoptosis (Q2) of SH-SY5Y cells. Data are shown as mean ± SD. The experiment was repeated three times. *P < 0.05, ***P < 0.001, vs. CON; #P < 0.05, vs. MPP (+) (one-way analysis of variance followed by Tukey’s post hoc test).
