Mottling of the carpal bones, with significant narrowing of the lunate fossa with loss of joint space, sclerosis, as well as continued atrophy of the carpal bones themselves. Previous ulnar styloid nonunion is still present. There is a narrowing of the midcarpal joint as well. These X-rays are consistent with previous images. No acute bony process noted. However, X-rays are concerning for progressive, localized osteoporosis and bone atrophy.
