The plate lysis assay of the purified endolysin (LysVTh2, lysAB-vT2) and fusion-LysVTh2 (lysAB-vT2-fusion) against A. baumannii was performed using autoclaved cells of A. baumannii ATCC 19606, A. baumannii AB003 (MDRAB), A. baumannii AB329 (XDRAB), Ps. aeruginosa ATCC 27853, E. coli ATCC 25922, K. pneumoniae ATCC 27736 and S. aureus ATCC 6538. Egg white lysozyme (EWL) was used as positive control.
