Antibody titers are expressed as the dilution factor determined from sigmoidal dilution curves which produced an OD414 value fivefold greater than the background level in the ELISA. Each titer represents the mean ± the standard deviation of three values from sera from each animal in the immunogen group. ND, not detected.
All peptide epitopes were conjugated to DT, and 50 μg of the peptide-DT conjugate emulsified in IFA was used to immunize BALB/c mice.
