aSevere maternal outcomes comprised 9 maternal deaths and 158 maternal near miss. In the group with no CS delay there were 2 maternal deaths and 38 maternal near miss, in the group with CS delay of 1–3 hours 2 maternal deaths and 28 maternal near miss and in the group with CS delay > 3 hours 5 maternal deaths and 92 maternal near miss.
