The table presents pain intensity evaluated using the numerical rating scale (NRS) where 0 = no pain, 10 = worst imaginable pain. The first assessment was done immediately after the patients’ extubation when the PCA was started.
The NRS was shown as medians and interquartile ranges. Probability was calculated with the Mann-Whitney U test.
