Effects of HTH01-015 on non-adrenergic contractions of human prostate tissues. Contractions of human prostate tissues were induced by U46619 (A,B) or endothelin-1 (C,D) in an organ bath, 30 min after addition of HTH01-015 in concentrations of 500 nM (A,C) or 10 µM (B,D) or of an equivalent amount of DMSO (controls), which was used as solvent for HTH01-015. Shown are data from n = 5 independent experiments in each subpanel, where tissues from n = 5 patients were used for both groups of a subpanel, resulting in paired samples. Shown are means ± SD from all experiments in concentration response curves with p values from two-way ANOVA for whole groups, and all single E_max and EC₅₀ values from all experiments (calculated by curve fitting) in scatter plots.
