Figure 4. — Effects of hypoxia-like conditions on the expression of angiogenic proteins of BHGc10 and BHGc7. The figure demonstrates the influence of DFX-induced hypoxia-like conditions (25 μmol/L DFX, 3 days) on the expression of the 10 angiogenesis array proteins. Angiopoietin-2 and VEGF are significantly induced in BHGc10 CTCs and although VEGF is likewise significantly overexpressed in BHGc7, the protein levels of TSP-1 and uPA are reduced in this case (all differences statistically significant against control, except for uPA and BHGc10). The level of TF is unchanged in BHGc10 and exhibits a minor but significant reduction in BHGc7 in response to DFX. Data represent mean ± SD
