Experimental protocol for chemically-induced oral ulcers and TPPU-treated. A circular filter paper (diameter of 3 mm) soaked with 50% acetic acid was placed on the desiccative labial mucosa of the lower incisor alveolar bone of SD rats for 30s. After 48h, the oral ulcer areas were covered using the circular filter paper soaked with TPPU or PBS for 5 minutes daily for 3 consecutive days, and then the oral ulcer area and pain threshold was measured until the ulcer healing.
