Upregulation of miR-150-3p inhibits tumor growth
in vivo
SW620 and HCT-116 cells were implanted subcutaneously into immunocompromised mice. When the tumors reached 80 mm 3 in volume, the mice received intraperitoneal administration of miR-150-3p agomir or corresponding negative control every other day. The tumors were excised after 42 days of treatment for analysis. (A,B) Quantification of the growth curve and weight of tumors in each group. (C) Representative images of tumor formation in each group. (D) RT-qPCR analysis of miR-150-3p level in each tumor group. (E) Representative images of immunohistochemical staining of Ki67 and cleaved caspase 3 in tumor sections of each group. Each experiment was repeated three times. Data are presented as the mean±SD of three independent experiments. ** P<0.01, *** P<0.001.
