FIGURE 2

Association between in vitro fertilization outcomes and ultrasound‐diagnosed adenomyosis. (A) Live birth rate, (B) clinical pregnancy rate, and (C) miscarriage rate. Women with adenomyosis as diagnosed by ultrasound (US) had lower LBRs and CPRs and higher MRs than women without adenomyosis as diagnosed by US. However, asymptomatic adenomyosis as diagnosed by US was not associated with IVF outcomes, while symptomatic adenomyosis as diagnosed by US had a negative effect on IVF outcomes, with lower LBRs and CPRs and higher MRs. In addition, diffuse adenomyosis as diagnosed by US was associated with lower LBRs and CPRs, but not with the MR. CPR, clinical pregnancy rate; IVF, in vitro fertilization; LBR, live birth rate; MR, miscarriage rate; US‐diagnosed AM, ultrasound‐diagnosed adenomyosis.
