Figure 1. The molecular mechanism of LIN28B. LIN28B blocks Drosha from cleaving pri-let-7 miRNA into pre-let-7 miRNA in the nucleus. LIN28A/B can hinder the Dicer-dependent maturation of let-7 miRNA in the cytoplasm by binding let-7 miRNA loops via CSD and ZKD.
