Mutant female, but not male mice spend increased time in the center zone and move to a higher distance from the wall in the open field. Mutant and WT males and females were subjected to the open field and the time spent in the center zone during the first 10 min (a), the frequency to enter the center zone during 20 min (b), the distance moved in the center during 20 min (c) and the distance from the wall during 20 min (d) were determined.
