Tryptophan Metabolism 60.30 This pathway is responsible for the aging process. It produces metabolites responsible for controlling inflammation, regulating energy homeostasis, and modulating behavior [67]. The tryptophan pathway promotes the intrinsic malignant properties of tumor cells, and at the same time, also restricts anti-tumor immunity.
