Cells were preincubated for 1 h with or without 20 μM MG 132. After addition of biotinylated GH, incubation was continued for 60 min before fixation and processing for immunoEM and labeling with anti-biotin. Numbers represent the percentage of total gold label (±SD) found over the subdomains of the endosomal vacuole.
