Protein fold-change line graphs for the major glycolytic enzymes under aerobic and anaerobic growth. The fold-change values were plotted against the time relative to glucose depletion (t = 0) in hours for all proteins of the major glycolytic enzymes. The different colors of the line graphs represent “red” for the minimal glycolysis (MG) strain under anaerobic conditions, “dark blue” the MG strain under aerobic conditions, “orange” for the control yeast strain under anaerobic conditions, and “light blue” for the control strain under aerobic conditions. Shown are the average values of the biological triplicates where the error bars indicate the standard deviations. The gray dashed line represents the glucose concentration over time (mM, secondary y-axis). Asterisks (∗) and circumflexes (ˆ) indicate the significant changes between the control and MG strain. p Values are indicated as follows: <0.001 (∗∗∗), <0.01 (∗∗), <0.05 (∗), and <0.1 (ˆ).
