Location-selective visual arrays (concentric VA). Note. Participants see six or ten blue rectangles, half of which occur at the center of the screen and half on an imaginary ring 9.3° from the center. The participant is cued to only attend to rectangles either at the center or on the periphery by cues of “INSIDE” or “OUTSIDE”. After the target array and a 900 ms-ISI, the rectangles in the cued location are re-presented, one of which has a white dot on it. The participant’s goal is to indicate whether this probed rectangle is the same orientation as in the initial array, and the participant is asked to respond “Yes” if the rectangle is the same orientation and “No” if the rectangle has changed.
